I just wanted to say I empathize with you so much. I don't have DID, but I do have little parts relating to trauma / PTSD. I want a mommy so bad sometimes too. I have learned to provide some of those things for myself, though, it is really frustrating sometimes when no one can be my mommy.
For me, when I feel little and need comfort, nurture, protection and safety; I will put on a diaper, grab my three cute, snuggly teddy bears, build a blankey fort, wrap up in super soft, cozy blankies and listen to ASMR bedtime stories and color. It is the closest thing I have to what I want so badly. I call it my little-space.
I hope these suggestions help. It is a wonderful world to explore. Hopefully with time and practice, you can learn to offer yourself these things whenever your little parts show themselves.
Thanks,

these suggestions are great!
we all ready watch cartoons which goes a long way to helping the littles, but I love your ideas- especially your idea about the blankie fort. I think that's a really cool idea
