I remember the one time walking back to our condo in jackson Hole wyo in January. It was -40F with NO wind chill. Looking back realized how stupud we were that winter skiing in -20F temp for several days. Would make 1 run & feet were totally frozen. Took off ski boots & wrapped them in my down jacket....total burning pain then put sku boots back on & did it again. I usually stay inside when it gets that cold now unless I have something really important going on. Would never do that again...young & dumb....my only excuse
