I was a TA in a university. It was my first time being a TA. I confronted an aggressive and arrogant student who disagreed with the marks I gave without giving a legitimate reason. He yelled at me loudly and even hit the desk. I was shocked and at a loss.

After the student venting anger on me, I reported to the professor and department chair. They had a talk with him to tell his behavior was unacceptable. I also sent him several emails to accuse of him. I ask lots of people online and they did give me good advice on how should I have dealt with such a student.

However, my grievance is still unresolved. I can still remember the evil look and hostile behavior of that student even though I may not see him again. I feel that not only do I have hatred towards him but also unsatisfied with my weakness facing this student. I should have bravely fought back and asked him to leave. How should I deal with this bad experience.
