I feel so much the same... here, still in daylight, an ocean away. I don't have alters, but I can feel the different parts of me crying out and "public" me trying to just keep it together.
I feel the same, and it feels crushing, it just takes my breath away, makes my stomach drop, brings tension and tears to my eyes, and makes me need to sit or lie down. I just want to empathize, and there is something to knowing others feel the same way that dissolves at least a fraction of loneliness, if not in the same way we would wish.
