Just forgot about it like it might go away? I'd use some of my selfishness and remind them :-) That could be some of the dream, the frustration and your head saying, "What do I have to do around here to get heard, tear off arms and legs?"

We're all selfish when we're young, we have to be. That's our job; we have to survive and don't have our own ways and means so must work hard to get them from our caretakers. Look at a nest of baby birds erupt when the mother comes home with the goods! If you're younger, you have to try a bit harder (and, in the human family often get the "baby" status instead of the "runt" status), have to talk louder to get heard, etc. I have 3 older brothers. The youngest of the three when he was little was known as "Me too!" because he was always trying to follow his older brothers :-) It ain't easy being young.
