This anxiety makes me not want to go. If anyone is near me when I need to go to a public washroom, I tend to freeze. I do my best to talk myself out of this fear, and eventually I do go, but it takes a lot of effort and energy to do a basic task. How do others cope with this?
I close my eyes, so I can't see who is passing by the stall. Or I look somewhere where I can't see the people passing by the stall.

I try to relax and remember that everyone is just here to use the restroom. They don't care how long I take, if I pee loud or fart. Or how much toilet paper I use.

I used to have the same anxiety. Really bad. It is fine now and not as bad.

But when it was bad, I used to take these homeopathic little pills. That would help me relax enough to use the restroom.

The brand was Boiron. I no longer remember what the pill was called. But if you go to a homeopathic doctor, they would be able to recommend something.

This brand does not interact with any medications.
