That is incorrect -- members who have people on their Ignore list should generally refrain from starting these types of group threads. Especially for general holiday celebration and the like, but it also applies to game threads and what-not.

Members who have nobody on their ignore list are welcomed to start such threads.

Members who have someone on their ignore list should contact a moderator or administrator to start the thread for them.

We don't want redundant or duplicate threads just because the ignore tool is being used by a member. Thank you.
