I have two 7-day pill organizers, a big one for supplements and a small one for meds.
I have a little keychain vial. When I wake up in the morning I put my meds for the day in the vial on my keychain so I always have them.
When I am going somewhere around town or not a long trip, I have a regular prescription bottle in my backpack with a complete 3-day supply of all my meds and the important supplements. I use the bottle from the most controlled med I take, which currently is dexedrine, since that's the one that would require the most explaining.
So, I do think about how I might deal with it if the cops search me, but have decided that my happy medium is much more on the side of staying organized and not missing doses etc, vs what may happen with the cops every few years. That being said, I'm also a white dude with a natural aversion to interacting with cops at all, and minimal tendency for arrestable behavior (and when I am likely to be arrested, it's probably at a protest, and thus I've got more documentation if I need meds with me).
