Thank you for posting this thread. There really are a lot of bullies on the internet. It seems to bring out people's inner bully. They think because they aren't face to face with the person that they can be extraordinarily harsh with them, and that it's okay. That it's not another human being who deserves compassion and respect at the other end of the wires.
Do your best to let it roll off your back. Maybe see if you can post your question here in one of the subforums and get more helpful feedback.
The worst response to someone's question about something they are struggling is to be invalidating and judgmental. Unfortunately that happens even here sometimes but I have heard that this site is better than most.
