good news my pdoc increased my klonopin to 2mg a day. he gave the a script for 60 1mg tabs. thats a good question about the insurance. i wasnt having to pay anything where i had medicaid & it was paying for what medicare didnt. i lost the medicaid the end of December cuz u get to have it for two months after having a baby. i was floored when they told me the klonopin would be almost $40 but i guess it makes sense cuz when i took 1mg they quoted me almost $20 so the script doubled & the price doubled. as far as the 2mg tabs it drives me nuts trying to break pills into cuz i always get one side bigger. i know it sounds silly but im so obsessive compulsive. they also raised my zoloft to 200mg a day from 100 but i dont have to pay for it. they also put me on trileptal but monday my doc has to call medicare & tell them why i need this & they need to authorize it & im not even sure if medicare will pay for the trileptal. honestly the insurance co drive me insane. they sure dont mind taking their monthly premiums out of my check but thats how they all are greedy! medicare apparently isnt big on paying for the controlled substances cuz they just sent me a whole list of meds theyve dropped & wont pay anymore. most of them were hydros oxycodone methadone types. i remember reading somewhere that they dont pay for benzos. i dont care. i will pay for the klonopins & trileptal myself cuz its not good at all when i have a 3 month old & my moods have been shifting so bad i feel like i wanna blow somebodys head off. thank the Lord for moms who let u borrow $40 til u get your check so u can get your meds NOW instead of having to wait.
