this is a very real fear to me.

it started because (and this is going to sound stupid), I was scared of getting to an old age in my life- and having no stories to tell, nothing to be proud of, etc etc.

I kept thinking.. well if I had children, how would they feel about me?. come to me for storytime and I just tell them... well, I used to be a nobody- no one wants that

but then I realised that their was more to it than that...

and that is,

Possible trigger:

the fear of being forgotten.

it's really hard for me to accept that when I die, the world will continue on without me- and I'll probably be forgotten about

I obviously have no family to remember me, so who?

and that's the main reason

I don't want to be a famous singer- or an author, or an inventor, I just want to do something that will get me remembered

something like.... oh, her?. didn't she win an award for such and such?

(winning an award would be like giving me gold)

but something small, small but memorable.

I'd like that
