justafriend - i don't know if this feeling has anything to do with that kind of heaviness, which i've also experienced. when i feel extremely depressed, my arms and legs do feel heavy, and like it's an effort to lift them, but with my hands this feeling - it literally feels like they were turned to lead. like i had to open my eyes and move them to get rid of the feeling that they were too heavy on my lap. it's not the same as the heavy lethargy i feel in the deep depression
