Hi. I'm trying to counteract lithium weight gain by eating a healthy diet. But I don't think that's going to be enough. I've read that you should avoid strenuous exercise while taking lithium. Well, I'm sorry, but if I'm going to keep my weight under control I'm going to have to do that.
So what about those of you on lithium who are trying to manage your weight? Do you exercise? If so, how strenuously? In addition to helping maintain weight, I also know exercise has a positive affect on mood.
