Ray...That is so amazing to me that you say this about the movie, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE!!! I have truly never EVER mentioned this film to anyone, except on here to your post.
I do know that at the time of my youth, back in the 70's, I had been hurt by the selfish drug induce behavior by my acquaintances, and the film seemed to suggest support of that mentality. I was done with it, and didn't want any more of it.
As for this film, CLOVERFIELD, I'm not sure. I've heard nothing of it so far, but I take your warning seriously. I did kind of appreciate BLAIR WITCH for its originality.
