My brother is autistic and can’t work and does no physical activities and rarely leaves the house. I am guessing he walks about an average of 1,000 steps a day. He also has OCD and depression and is on medications including seroquel.

He is gaining a lot of weight very fast. I have lost a lot of weight and am continuing to lose.

Sometimes I’ll get fast food or candy or something and freak out about
The calories and change my mind about eating it. I’ll often give it to him.

Is it enabling him to give him my unhealthy food when he’s gaining so much weight? I hate to let food go to waste and he will eat it.

Should I not be doing this? My mom also buys him boxes of donuts and cartons of ice cream. I’m not sure why she’s doing that. I don’t feel like confronting her about it. I probably should just change my behavior if I’m doing something wrong.
