I have emailed my therapist about taking a break and she said she understands that therapy gives me some of what I need, but misses the mark, that I know how she works and what she has to offer. All of that is true. She also said that when she's had clients take breaks, it helps to have a plan in place. Mine is to lose myself in work and be glad for the extra time and money not spent...but that will probably wear off after a few days. Has anyone who's taken a break worked out some kind of plan? Does anyone even know what that means?
