I think there is nothing wrong with taking a mix that "mostly works", but I do think eventually it can be improved by various non med options like therapy, healthy living, stress relief, and time/brain healing. Too often people think meds should do it all, but that isn't always possible. Over the years I've grown to have more insight into my mood shifts, and with my pdoc's help and my own instincts I lessen and lessen the mood lability. It's kind of like finally learning to find balance in the middle of a seesaw.
