I've had a couple of suspicious lumps. My doctor sent me for an ultrasound each time. There was nothing wrong. I was relieved. The latest one was due to not wearing a supportive enough bra for the type of activity I was doing (horseback riding). After being properly supported, the lump went down slowly over time.

When I had my period, my breasts were always very tender and felt lumpier than normal.

I had a golf sized growth taken out when I was a teenager. It was biopsied and the results were benign. I was really scared at the time though.

I'm glad you are seeing your doctor on the 9th.
