I am always curious about people threatening to never seek out another therapist again. Who is that supposed to hurt?

I mean, I get the threat of "I'm firing this therapist;" that's obviously aimed at the therapist, who suffers a loss if you choose to fire him/her.

But, it's like...ok, you'll never seek out another therapist again... no one is going to argue with that. Unless you're court-ordered or a minor, no one is making you go to therapy.
