I wear the camisole kind and cut the last part of the elastic off. Like the lower rim of elastic. I leave enough to keep the darn thing in place.
I've done it for years. I used to wear the kind with underwire and all that, but I am 56 years old and about comfort now.

I don't have really big boobs so it's not a big deal. Believe me, it helps a lot . I can't stand anything tight around my waist or my ribcage.

God Bless the person who invented elastic waist pants and camisole bras.
I'm not very much overweight, it's just a comfort thing.
