I have tried amitriptylene, protriptylene and currently take nortriptylene.

According to my pdoc, protrip is likely to increase energy and amitrip is likely to make you sleepy and nortrip falls somewhere in the middle.

One of the good things about nortrip is that there is actually a blood test to see if the amount in your system is within a certain range. If you are in that range and not being helped, then it is not likely to help. If you go above, then you can safely decrease and expect the good effects to continue.

It does give me dry mouth and eyes.
