My 'type' of ADHD is based on a lack of focus and concentration.
I was on Ritalin (SR) for a while which obviously gave me a massive rush of confidence and motivation for the first 45 mins or so but even then it made my symptoms worse - I'd be forgetting things (ie not switching the heating/lights off when I leave for work etc), my thought recollection process was poor and would be left with foggy/fuzzy thinking until the drug wore off. It was the same (although at a lesser rate and obviously more evenly spread through the day) with Concerta.
My Psych even tried me at 40mg in the morning, 40mg in the afternoon but that made things even worse, the higher the dose the worse I became.
I've now been on Elvanse for a few days and although it's obviously early days and a low dose (30mg per day) I think I can feel slight traces of that making my symptoms worse too.
Has anyone else experiences stims making their lack of focus worse too?
(By the way I've also tried Atomoxetine and Bupropion which did nothing whatsoever even at higher doses)
