I've heard and read nothing but horror stories when it comes to people trying/using Ritalin.

As for myself, I'm currently prescribed 10mg XR Dexedrine, twice a day, and it improves both my clarity of mind, the structure of my thoughts, and helps to passively/indirectly improve motivation by removing that persistent feeling of being overwhelming underwhelmed whenever attempting to start a new task.

I've never tried Ritalin, and quite frankly I would refuse it outright if my Psych suggested it, but then again, I've done my research, and I've been on this medication for over 5 years.

Alternatively, Adderall was much better for motivation and productivity, and helped provide a degree of confidence and certainty in my thoughts and actions, which really helped when on the job, however it intermittently caused huge bouts of anxiety to occur.

Honestly though, Ritalin.....never touching that ****.
Thanks for this!
