Sometimes you can be enrolled in a study where they test things like that. For example, ketamine was studied for a while before becoming available thru a doctor and probably at some point insurance companies will start paying for it. Participating in a study would be legal.
Thanks, kecanoe, I didn't know ketamine was now available. I need to get a physical so I will ask my doctor if she will prescribe some.

Originally I thought ketamine could only be administered in-patient, because it was through an IV. I wonder if it is now in pill form for out-patient use?
