Oh shoot, I almost forgot.

Generally in your closest "big town" there will be a christian charitable clinic, they might be one day a month but they will offer free health care and also free prescriptions. The only issues I think is some forms to fill out and then the wait. I understand that at times it can be very long (several hours) but it's sorta first come, first serve. I've had to to use this before. But it's all volunteer, that's why it's free. The one I went to even had a free eye exam and eye glasses (really cheap). It's just according to what all docs in the area donate their time.

Perhaps you could ask around some of the churches, even if you're not christian it doesn't matter about that, they will help if they can.
