I agree with ATAT and NP. I have gained weight over the last 3 years -stress over my person and eating what she ate and wanted (cake - she loved cakes). I am not a big believer in forbidding stuff. I have cut back on added sugar/sweets (not my big thing but I will eat if they are in the house) and making sure I add in a lot more vegetables and I am making sure I am getting more exercise , doing yoga/qigong and meditation every day sort of thing. I feel so much better when I do it. It takes as week or two for me to get into the swing but as long as I stick to it for that period - then it becomes just part of the day.
I use fitday too.
