He's still upset with my mom and says he's been thinking about breaking up with me because of her. He's holding a grudge and all he talks about lately is my mom. He says he doesn't hate her but he sounds to me like he does. If I didn't love him I would break up with him because he's putting me through an emotional roller coaster that I don't need right now.

Today he says he won't break up with me, but yesterday he was thinking about it. I was thinking of restarting my dating profile but decided against it. Just because maybe I'm putting too much effort into this guy and should date around more.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm driving down this weekend because he plans to repay me the money I loaned him when his tire went flat and he didn't have the money on him. He carries cash, no debit card, no credit card. He broke his debit card and never replaced it. I told him to get a credit card to build his credit. He just got a pre-approval letter.

If he dislikes my mom do you think it can ever work? I mean he should want to at least try, she's actually nice to him except for the fight they had. And they both have apologized. So it should be done, but in his head it's not. I don't know what I can say anymore to get him to get over it.
