That's great to hear, gives me some hope. I'd like a relationship but I just don't know if I could actually handle it well.

Your best bet is to do your research on AvPD and see a psychiatrist for proper diagnosing, if that's what you want.

Why does that matter? every site I've read about it, says if you think you have it, talk to a mental health professional, not a speific type, he also says social anxiety which I know I have. I've known that aspect for years. He likely wont update anything. AvPD really does fit me down to the touch issues and fear of being close to people in relationships etc.
