I have had very similar thinking/feelings today. It's been a rough day.
It would be nice if we could just reason our way out of depression; yet, we cannot. Depression has a hold we cannot explain away.
Do you see a pdoc/therapist?
Do you take meds?
Have you tried CBT and/or DBT?
None of the above guarantees you won't suffer with depression; yet, sometimes some of the above options can be helpful.
