I know, don't change meds without permission.
However, since I restarted prazosin, an antihypertensive used for nightmares, it feels like a ton of bricks on my chest every night until I fall asleep. My pulse has been well above 100 at that point, but my normal resting heart rate with caffeine is 65 I reduced my Seroquel from 600 to 400 last night. It didn't hurt to fall asleep. I slept about the same. I feel very sore from yesterday at the gym but ok otherwise. I know a drop in blood pressure can cause high heart rate and it's very dangerous when the body does that. Seroquel can cause a drop in BP as well. I was briefly on 800mg and was passing out at times with dangerously low BP a couple years ago.
I think I've chosen wisely here. I don't want to bother my provider with this small change. Should I?
