I was shocked to see this stat on Good Morning America this morning. I assumed more went because after all their children would inspire them to continue their education and get a degree. I guess it's this a way because they most likely end up being single mothers which would make it nearly impossible to attend college and work to provide on their own.

I had both my children by the time I was 19 years old and never considered me going to college a rarity amongst other young girls like myself. My friends and family tell me it's a big deal but I never really believed it was. I suppose I am lucky and should be grateful I was given the opportunity.
