Well... I don't know anything about this really. Everything I have read seems to say that intrusive thoughts are, by definition, thoughts a person does not want to have. So I don't know if a repetitive thought one likes could be called an intrusive thought or not. It's an interesting question.

I certainly have thoughts that keep coming back over-&-over again. And some of the ones I have I both hate & like at the same time. (It's complicated.) But, anyway, in answer to your question, I guess I would say... yes... it sounds, from what you wrote, as though you are liking your intrusive thoughts or at least portions of them. What that means, in terms of your over-all mental health, is something that is beyond my capability to answer. Hopefully other members, here on PC, will have some better insights to offer.
