There are smart people who cuss, and smart people who don't cuss. There are dumb people who cuss, and dumb people who don't cuss. There is no "one size fits all" here. I say do what you feel comfortable with, and allow others to do what they feel comfortable with. I myself do swear occasionally, but not in every second sentence.
