Does your heart get torn out and stomped every single time? It seems you do put yourself out there a lot, or in huge ways. Have you heard "you get what you give?" Normally, I've always thought that to mean if you give love, you'll get love.... not always true.... It can mean if you give large, you get large. The more love you feel, the more pain you expose yourself to. But don't you always hear about how you should love wholly, completely, with all your heart.... sounds as if you took that idea to extremes.... something you said a long time ago comes to mind.... not everyone has the same morals or ethics as you do... people give what they give according to thier understanding and beliefs.... and they take in much the same way.... I have no doubt someone... probably your children, can benefit from your big, big, heart... with others, for protecting yourself, you might want to be more selective.. that's ok, even smart... when you find those capable of appreciating how much you're capable of feeling, the equal measure comes back in your favor... it's hard, I know...
