There's been a lot of discussion at the thread about the movie "No Letting Go" about a boy with bipolar whose family can afford a six figure cost of residential care. There's a lot of agreement in the Comments that most people with MI struggle with finances to MAYBE be able to afford some sort of treatment. Does anyone know of a movie that deals with this problem? As I said in one of my posts in the "No Letting Go" thread, most of the movies I've seen about MI show the person getting treatment, but finances are not mentioned! It's just "taken for granted" in these movies that people with MI get therapy, and/or a psychiatrist/meds, and the issue of the UNAVAILABILITY and inaccessibility of these things for so many people is not addressed.
