When I was younger and less had less personal experience with the evils of BP I was like that.
I still want to quit my meds but more so because I'm done with all the red tape of my clozapine.
I'd advise you to stay on your meds, but if you go off be really diligent on monitoring your moods and be willing to go back on if and when things go haywire.
