Getting high off robitussin or “robotripping” was popular in my high school years amongst the “edgy” crowd. Personally I was too scared to ever try anything like that for fear of permanent damage. I’m glad I didn’t, I doubt it would have played well with my MI, which was symptomatic at the time, including mild psychosis.
