Questions: Is this during the day you expect to have a text conversation? Is he in a position to do so? Many employers don't allow staff to even have their cell phones on them.
I want to point out that people have differing opinions about texting. Personally I don't care for it. I certainly wouldn't do so during the daytime business hours when someone would be at work. And I find it a cop-out. For me it is about the personal touch and when I get a text I tend to think the person is too lazy for a phone call.
But that is just me. I realise I am likely the minority when it comes to this kind of communication. But I just wanted to point out that there could be a reason he is not texting you. Perhaps it isn't even within his ability or appropriate for him to do so. Please consider perhaps why he is not texting you. Is this really worth breaking up over?
