Well... I don't know as I'm exactly the way you describe. But I'm not a saver. Anything I don't seem to have a use for, I get rid of. Unlike you, I dislike my past. So quite a few years ago, I shredded every picture I had of myself & my extended family. Once I'm gone, they'd all end up in the trash anyway. If there are any pictures of me anywhere in the world, it's only because I don't have access to them. So I guess you might say I am cold & detached. There are things from the past I have kept. But it's not because there's sentimental value attached to them. It's just because I like them for what they are.
