Hello osiris: Well... based on what you wrote, I'd have to agree with your friend. I don't know, obviously, if this lady is a cheater or not. But it seems clear to me she's not interested in you romantically. If you can simply be casual friends with her, & not really care about what she may or may not be doing with anyone else, then fine. But otherwise, my thought would be that it may be best if you simply move on.
