The managing pharmacist has a lot more power over your prescriptions than you would think. He can decide how early to fill a prescription or whether to fill it at all until after speaking to your doctor. He also sets the tone of the whole pharmacy staff.

I do all my refills and status checking on line. Then I know ahead of time what's due and what's ready for pick-up.
