After numerous calls to the doctor's office, the pharmacy, and the hospital lab, I finally got my clozapine filled. My mother helped out a bit and picked it up for me. I have three refills so at least it'll be a while before I have to deal with this insanity again.
Hopefully I'll be off clozapine by then. I'm still going to discuss getting off with my pdoc when I see him next.
I'm supposed to take 300mg of clozapine per day. Lately I've only been taking 1 pill (100mg) a night if I can't fall asleep on my own. I'm going to keep doing this and sometime this week I'm going to group and going to ask the pdoc there (who I trust much more than my actual pdoc) if it'd be okay if I didn't go back up to 300mg and what dose I should take and how to taper up to that dose if it's more than what I'm taking now.
I'm just happy this is all over with for now.
