Hello Angelluv: I'm sorry you are faced with this dilemma. It's difficult to know what to tell you. As is so often said: "What's normal?" What may be considered normal by one person may seem bizarre to someone else. I don't think we can say whether or not what your bf is doing is "normal". That said, what he is doing certainly could get him into some embarrassing & even dangerous situations at some point. And you could be dragged into it by virtue of your attachment to him. So that's certainly of concern.

Also, if your bf is taking pictures of women's butts, one has to wonder what else he's up to... or where... or what he may get "up to" at some point in the future when the novelty of taking pictures of women's butts wears off. I don't think the fact he's taking pictures of women's butts necessarily means he's likely to become a rapist or a killer. But it certainly does raise some potentially troubling concerns.

You mentioned also that your bf has low testosterone. I don't know if this is something that has actually been diagnosed medically, or if it is simply your assessment of his situation. Low testosterone is a genuine problem that men can have. And it can lead to a variety of medical as well as mental health problems. Low testosterone could possibly be a cause of your bf's lack of interest in having sex with you, I suppose. (I'm not a doctor.) But perhaps the more relevant consideration here, for our purposes, is that this is apparently not of concern to him. He's more interested in taking pictures of women's butts.

Honestly I can't tell you whether or not you should break up with your bf after having been with him for 5 years. But there certainly are a bunch of red flags here. And if I were your grandpa (I'm presumably old enough to be) I'd tell you to be careful!

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

I don't know, of course, if you're here simply seeking advice with regard to this particular concern or if you plan to hang in here with us. However, should you be planning to continue on (we hope you do)... may I suggest you introduce yourself over on PC's New Member Introductions forum? Here's a link:
