It may not be related to bipolar but "Girl Interrupted" has always been my all-time favorite movie on mental illness. Angelina Jolie even won an Oscar for her part in the movie.
It is based on the real life story of Susana Kaysen, played superbly by Winona Ryder. The book is even better than the movie. I enjoyed both thoroughly.
