I actually caught a little trout despite it being white fly week (like old home week for flies I guess? :-) but then on another cast my hook got caught on rocks or something, and I ended up breaking the line. It wasn't a very good spot but the whole concept of being able to say I'd been "fishing in the Rio Grande" just took my imagination.

The campground was State I think, no water hookups and the managers were volunteers. That's a neat job you might look into, you get a free site if you volunteer to be "hosts"
