Hello! I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes while pregnant with my third child. Three years later (1996) I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been taking prednisone for over 27 year and it is the cause of my diabetes. I inject insulin. My last A1C was in the 6's.
