I can tell you from experience that Romanians live a very difficult way of life. If the parents of these children sent them off to the UK, it was more than likely because they were duped into believing they were doing something good for their children...getting them out of a difficult place to live...where there is no money, no jobs and little to strive for or achieve in their lifetime.
I can also tell you that it is not difficult to take children from their homes....or from the street where many of them live. These children were not doing what they did because they wanted to....they did it because they had no other choice if they wanted to stay alive. These children were considered "throw aways" as far as the traffickers were concerned.
This story breaks my heart.....and until the truth is found out as to how the children really ended up in the UK, I, for one will not assume that the children or their families were to blame for this situation.
