Honestly... it depends on the emotion. If I'm angry, stressed, frustrated or something else along that line I'll go to the gym and work out. Exercise has been the one of the only ways that I can deal with my more harsh feelings. But also writing helps. Just journal whatever you're thinking, feeling, etc. It doesn't even have to make sense you can jump around from one emotion to another, it's what your feeling in that moment. But I promise both of these work. :
