Well they "work for me" but they mess up a lot of other areas of my life so it's always a compromise. To be honest, my productivity means more to me than my mental health. If I have to take a medicine combo that is not favorable towards my anxiety but allows me to be the most productive I can thus enhancing my ability to get a degree and good grades, it's worth it. SSRI's you could argue "do help productivity" at certain times of the day, but the being hungry more often albeit "good" is annoying when I'm always "on the go" and don't have jack ***** time to eat ever. Also, I have to be alert and ready to go at all hours of the day with college and a competitive major, so it's my temporary mental health or my future at hand really. Not that dramatically per se, but I can't afford just quitting 2-3 hours of homework a night early because my SSRI's make me tired or other things like that. They work against my amphetamines which is nice for sleep, but awful when you need focus very bad like my severe ADHD self does. I totally hate meds. I mean, a lot of them.
