im so sorry that you are going through this pain, i cant tell you i know how you feel becoause i dont, but i can say i understand the not wanting to start each day with something missing from your life, from what i can tell from your post you are doing the best you can with what time you have with your children, they know you love them and as they get older they will form there own opions about what has gone on between you and there mum
just show them you are there for them
